19 of Medvedev's twenty-one championships have been achieved on hardcourt
A revitalized Medvedev secured his maiden title for 882 days with victory over opponent Moutet in the tournament championship match.
The athlete, a ex- number one, has had a challenging year, winning just a single victory at the major tournaments and undergoing a meltdown at the US Open.
Medvedev's inconsistency on the ATP Tour - and issues with his service game in especial - caused him dropping out of the elite rankings and eventually separating with long-term mentor Gilles Cervara.
Now working with Thomas Johansson and Goetzke, Medvedev has steadily improved in the past month - climaxing in a closely contested competitive victory over challenger Moutet.
It is Medvedev's first title after the Italian tournament and maiden on a hardcourt since spring of that year.
The win also means Medvedev has won 21 championships at twenty-one various competitions.
"This marks the first occasion I have attended a competition with my two daughters at once, so to secure a trophy is especially meaningful," said tennis professional Daniil Medvedev.
"This championship is in tribute of my child her name, because the first title I got when my child my daughter was born was for her."
The tennis star, the 2021 US Open champion, had been defeated in his last six championship matches, comprising in the German tournament previously this season.
Medvedev's retrieving strategy and frequent reactions on court had prompted commentators to wonder if his ability to play at the highest level was concluded.
However the 29-year-old has altered his approach in recent weeks, attempting to come to the net and compete positively, supported by an enhanced service.
He fought back from a disadvantage in the opening set against the tricky Moutet, taking 4 of the last five points to go ahead.
The competitors swapped service breaks in the middle set before Moutet, bidding for his first professional title, took control to create a final set.
He saved four initial chances in a competitive final set before Medvedev secured a break to that score to serve for the match.
Appropriately, he earned victory with a shot at the front of the court, with his opponent unable to handle a return after over two and a half hours.
