I'll stamp all over 'credible combatant' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to publicize the upcoming bout.

Ex twice world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Fighter's Attitude

"I will break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, stated.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.

"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's my intention."

Civil Exchange

In spite of such comments, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - typically famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.

Targeting Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK opponent Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.

Jake Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.

He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.

Commercial Success

Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's biggest financial successes, consistently making substantial earnings.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.

"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.

Physical Disparity

As the two fighters participated in the usual confrontation, with their size difference clearly visible, it drove home just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the match is actually proceeding.
